BIO:
Pure Perception Records was created in 2007 by Kameleon (Matt Bryson) and Labyrinth (Elliott Vaughn) (Pangea Productions) in the southeastern US with the goal of releasing high quality, unique, atmospheric, and above all highly danceable progressive and psychedelic music to the world. Both have played many forms and variations of intelligent progressive music for over 10 years. Now they are focused on providing an outlet for new and fresh sounds, as well as letting veterans explore new territories. Providing sounds for the night and day, styles ranging from minimal, techno, progressive, progressive psy, and psychedelic trance. Pure Perception Records is about diversity yet showing a consistency of innovation and creativity, helping to show that each sound has a place on the dancefloor and that all sounds should be explored in order to give a proper psychedelic experience.

Pure Perception Record’s debut cd release ‘Cherokee’ was featured on John 00 Fleming’s ‘Psy- Trance Euphoria 2’ mix cd for Ministry of Sound released in 2009 with great reviews. John’s Euphoria mix series has sold hundreds of thousands of copies worldwide and he regards this edition as “one of the best comps I’ve put together… I’m not just saying this!.”
Pure Perception Records also hosts two monthly radio shows on internet radio site di.fm, featuring fresh new releases as well as guest mixes from around the world. Running for 4 years strong, we average 800-1600 listeners for each broadcast. Di.fm is the leader in electronic music radio with shows hosted by the likes of John Digweed, Markus Schulz, John 00 Fleming, Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox and many more.
Kameleon and Labyrinth have been spreading their sound across N. America and Europe with many festival appearances including Equinox Festival (USA 2005,06,07,08,09), Gemini Festival (USA 2008,09), Arcadia Festival (France 2008), as well as gigs in New York (USA), Montreal (Canada), San Francisco (USA), and numerous appearances in Atlanta (USA), Asheville (USA), and all over the southeast USA.
